I have owned both bars at the same time actually and i prefer the ohio.
The ohio bar includes the variants such as the froning bar castro bar and the chan bar.
Sliiiiightly better spin on otherwise equal bars.
If you are doing primarly oly lifting or are oly lifting high numbers in your cf routine swod go with the oly wl bar.
I m in the market for a new barbell that i can utilize primarily for squat bench and deadlift.
It s better than all the other 28 5mm multipurpose rogue bars i have owned or used ohio zinc 2 0 zinc chan zinc.
I was curious to know if anyone owns any of those 3 bars and could give their opinion insight of their bar.

The westside power bar 2 0 features a 29mm diameter 205k psi tensile strength shaft with single powerlifting knurl marks and a center knurl.
You can always drop by your local fitness depot location and do a comparison of their needle bar vs their bushing bar with some bumpers on it.
Rogue is a bigger name though if that means anything to you.

Decided to buy from rogue so the choices are an.
I have a rogue westside power bar ohio bar v1 1 and ohio bar v1 2 each in black zinc and this hasn t happened to any of them.

If you want a bar just for squatting the westside bar will be stiffer.
I ve narrowed it down between the rogue westside power bar 2 0 ohio power bar and or the texas power bar.

I m trying to make up my mind between these two barbells and am looking for any guidance anyone wants to drop.
The bos bar seems to spin better prob because it has needle bearings while the rogue bar uses bushings.
You can use this bar for metcons and powerlifting if needed as well.
