In revit a curtain wall is whatever you want it to be including internal glazed partitions chainwire fences windows for those too lazy to make a window and even a roof because why not.
Roof and wall intersection not showing in revit.
After placing a wall you can override its initial top and base constraints by attaching its top or base to another element in the same vertical plane.
By attaching a wall to another element you avoid the need to manually edit the wall profile when the design changes.
In other words i d like roof 1 roof 2 roof 3 and roof 4 to all be joined with no overlap internally.
In the attached massing model i have several roofs that i wish to simply clean up where they meet so that when i look at the floor plan and section they appear as all joined together.
Disallow join determines the join behavior for the wall end no matter where this wall is placed.
To specify that the wall ends for the intersecting walls should not join on the options bar select disallow join.
I can see the side walls and the walls that define the dormer but not the roof that should sit on the same view wither joining the walls or at the front south of the building.
If the model includes intersected geometry for example an extrusion passing through a wall surface revit does not create new edges along the lines of the intersection.
This may result in incorrect hidden line removal during export.
The other element can be a floor a roof a ceiling a reference plane or another wall that is directly above or below.
Hi everyone my fist post and im quite new to revit.
Though from long autocad background i m creating a basic dormer with in a roof but the but the roof does not appear in the level.
How to use intersecting reference planes to create custom pattern on wall surface and how to create curtain wall panels for solids and windows.
Revit cannot print a portion of a drawing.
